Additional InformationDoris Day and Frank Sinatra star in this remake of the 1938 hit "Four Daughters." In this version, Gregory Tuttle has just three daughters, one of whom, Laurie (Day) falls for a melancholy musician named Barney Sloan (Sinatra). But she's already betrothed to Alex Burke, the man who hired Barney to arrange the music for a musical comedy. That doesn't prevent Laurie and Barney from eloping. But his insecurity is so deep and so destructive it nearly costs them their happiness... and his life, but she helps him find happiness through her love and support. Ethel Barrymore gives a fine supporting performance, while YOUNG AT HEART features a score of classic songs performed by Day and Sinatra.

If you are young at heart, i an sure you would enjoy this film, It's a love storey with a few songs thrown in.
This particular film has an appeal for fans of Frank Sinatra and Doris Day. It has a good story line of a cynical young man called Barney Sloan, who takes the view that he is unlucky in life. How ever luck comes his way when he meets Laurie Tuttle. It is a story involving 3 sisters, who think they all love a friend of Barney's called Alex Burke. With the trails of loves up's and down's, true love eventually comes to them all. There are many fabulous songs sang by Doris and Frank.
