The Stabila BM 100 Compact Pocket Tape has a shatterproof ABS housing with a shock-absorbent soft grip casing and an integrated eyelet for attaching an anti-drop wrist strap. Ergonomically shaped for easy use. Its blade features hard-wearing paint that protects the scales from damage. The yellow coating ensures good readability, even in sunlight, with red tens for quick orientation and reading. A movable start hook with an integrated eyelet to prevent slippage allows for accurate measurements. The start of the blade is strengthened with a metal plate to prevent wear. Fitted with a push brake for stopping and locking the tape securely and a chrome-plated metal clip for easy belt attachment. Reliable measuring tape. Great brand too
I like this make the measurements are always spot on, the only thing I can’t work out is they keep changing the tape body, the last one and the one before was great and a lot better then this new one. They have changed the end, the grip bit has gone. Used to have like a sand paper on the inside part of the hook end. Plus they have removed the shock return buffer. Don’t get me wrong this new tape still does its job. But feel they have not improved it, when the old style was really good.
