Packard is an American car brand. In the 1920s and 1930s, Packard was one of the American manufacturers that marketed the most luxurious and expensive automobiles in the world. In 1932 Packard marketed its Packard Single with an 8-cylinder engine, 5.8 liters of displacement for 85 hp, 3-speed gearbox and four-wheel brake. It was quickly declined in the following years, in many variants of models for three to seven passengers, with success and international elite notoriety. In 1927 Packard increased the power of its 8-cylinder engine to 6.3 liters for 109 hp. From 1929, Packard only built 8-cylinders, before adding its V12-powered Packard Twelves to its catalog in 1932.
