Very good CD
An amazing album particularly as Loretta was 72 when it was recorded. It was made in collaboration with Jack White of the rock band White Stripes. This mix works surprisingly well, and the result is definitely a country album. While Lorretta's voice is past it's peak ii is still very good, and she also wrote all of the songs in the album. The 'Van Lear' in the title of the CD was the name of the coal mine where Lorretta's father worked when she was a child.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
