Ulrich Schnauss is quite prolific. He has somewhere in the region of 30 releases to his name, a mixture of full albums and EPs. He also appears on about 20 Tangerine Dream releases since he joined the band in 2014. You could buy any random selection of his work and the sound and quality of the work would be pretty much the same as any other random selection. His stuff isn't quite up to the standard of, say, Pete Namlook and Klaus Schulze's "Dark Side of the Moog" series but it is still strong enough to receive a strong 4 or 5/5 on any release. This, is strongly reminiscent of Tangerine Dream's early albums, or even Edgar Froese's solo work, than some of the T.D.'s dodgy middle period where they seemed to throw out a new album every month just by turning on the sequencers and tape machine, going to the pub and releasing whatever had been recorded by the time they got back.
