This is a must for music fans everywhere! This album contains music that if everybody heard, they would be alot happier and friendlier towards each other!!! The quality of musicianship and feel of the music is absolutely first-class. Featuring the legendary rhythm section of Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble) and Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton (Vocals & Guitars) this album is pure music played with a passion. Recorded just a short time after the untimely death of Stevie Ray Vaughan, this is the first album of material recorded by the remaining members of his band, and it is interesting to hear how diverse these musicians actually are when not quite so strictly restrained by the blues. If you got the cash, I strongly suggest that there are worse things out there to buy to make you feel good. So go on do it, buy Arc Angels... You won't regret it!!!!Read full review
I first heard this album quite afew years ago, a friend recommended it to me. I tried to buy it, and couldn't find it, even in USA. except on tape. Then ebay happened! After the tape wore out. It's a bluesy type rock album, with some quite moving tunes like: "See what tomorrow brings" which is written about the late musician Stevie Ray Vaughan. I'm not really into blues, but I just love this album, so is it really blues? Thanks Steve for lending me the album all those years ago.
Excellent album
