Rock n' Roll at its Best!
Eddie and the Hot Rods are a band that have never made it big in the United States. Not sure why as they generally, particularly in the early days, wrote some great music. This CD is no exception and in fact is probably their high point. This CD version comes with all the original songs from the original album and in addition throws in some extra tracks. All the originals sound great and the extra tracks are enjoyable as well, not filler. This CD contains their biggest hit "Do Anything You Wanna Do" a phenomenally catchy tune that kicks from start to finish. The last song on the original album was "The Beginning of the End," a solidly well crafted and rockin' song with an apocalyptic edge. I could go on and on about the merits of this great CD but suffice it to say get beyond the "classic rock" boredom that you hear over and over and over and enjoy some rock music that is both well crafted and will have you wanting bigger speakers!
