Looking back to the original Small Faces and the 1960s as famous as they were I would consider them a little in the shadow of bands like the Beatles, Stones, Kinks etc etc. However they can stand up as an excellent group of musicians and writers. This is a worthy album. Regards - a true lover of 1960's Mod fashion :)

A good across the board representation of the bands songs. The Small Faces were a fantastic band, all great musicians and didn't get the accolades and success they deserved. If I am being picky about the track selection on this album, I would have liked to have seen "Lazy Sunday" omitted (because it has been done to death on many Small Faces compilations) and replaced by "Song of a Baker," which is a fantastic but often neglected song by this great band. If you buy this record, you won't be disappointed!

This really is the best of the small faces all the hits in original sound.

To my mind one of the best bands of the 60's. All their hits plus some lesser known songs. I had forgotten how good they were. If you were around in the 60's and even if you were not a mod you have to have liked the small faces. And it only cost me £3. Happy bunny.
