Horror film set in remote Alaska, portrayed through the eyes of a psychotic serial killer. Town barber and part-time murderer Dexter Miles (Malcolm McDowell) is surprised to overhear, while cutting the hair of police chief Vance Corgan (Jeremy Ratchford), that the body of a woman he murdered a few days before has been recovered. He had hope that, owing to the closing in of the long dark winter nights, the body would not be found until spring - but when the city authorities arrive in the sleepy backwater to investigate the case, he becomes so excited that he can't help feeling the urge to kill again - and again.
