  • A perfect set of films to show the mastery of Ozu

Three films, the Noriko Trilogy, each featuring Setsuko Hara as different characters of that name. Tokyo Story is the most famous, but many of us prefer Late Spring. However, all are equally marvellous and examples of the best cinema in the world. All the actors are brilliant, and each film demonstrates why Ozu is considered one of the greats.
