Great insight.
This book provides great insight into the blockbuster deals that Donald Trump made early in his career. Many people think, because of the media, that Trump was handed a million dollar check from his father, and was the product of a silver-spoon-in-hand upbringing. Well, it didn't quite go down that way. His views and approach to real estate investment was quite different than his fathers. This book also will give you some insight as to how the local governments can stifle economic growth through unnecessary red tape, corruption, inaction, and personal vendetta's. My only complaints were that I was hoping for some more background information about his upbringing. Also, I was hoping for more advice on strategies for negotiating "The Deal." But nonetheless, I enjoyed this book VERY MUCH and considered it a worthwhile read. I look forward to a post presidential book after his second term.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

FINALLY got my own copy to read.
I have wanted to get this book for a long time and finally got my own copy. This book has some great information in it. but you need to read it to find out. no spoilers here, I will tell you this is a must have book. This could be how President Trump makes all those amazing deals for America, Maybe I can make some great deals to make my life great again. In this book, Donald wants and goes for the biggest and highest profile buildings which will result in big returns if everything goes as he plans, which they seem to do for him. From a business point of view he plans very carefully with attention to detail, works almost everyday and loves what he does. Some of his best deals come with luck as many seller come to him to unload their property and he knows this is when he can buy a low prices before competitors know about the property. This book is really great! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It made me feel like I was one of his friends in learning so much about him. He is an extremely impressive man and he is who we need to try to make America great again. He does many things to help others. He wants to help America, he already has fame and fortune. Reading the book also made me want to move to NY city and rent or buy one of his condos in Trump Plaza or other bldg, but most of us are not in the income bracket to do that. I recommend it (and his other books) to anyone actually doing research on the people they intend to vote for, rather than the lip flapping babble of reporters OR the lip flapping of politicians. read the art of the deal and you will understand why donald trump comes out with these to many shocking statements.
Donald trump is a very good negotiator and knows what he is saying and very smart. he is acting now in a way that he is doing things in his book "The Art of The Deal" We need some one like Donald trump to be in charge of this Country to get rid of all the corruption going on in this government. There is not much of a difference between the democrats and republicans they are looking out for their very own and do not give a hood about the citizens. They are spending tax payers money at will , they them selves have big salaries and insurance., not to forget the additional benefits and compensation that we have to pay with no say what so ever and this is only the tip of the ice berg..
