Does what it says.
The film is a farcial comedy of the old school, but with French flair. The premise isn't promising, a girl who reads books, but she engages and identifies with one of the characters in the book she is reading. This leads to all sorts of situations, this is what makes the film. The script is sharp and well written, something to get your teeth into. Oh, and it has easy to follow English subtitles. Saucy euro fun
This is just a great 80s European film. Light, not too heavy, funny, a tiny bit saucy, great performances, and just the right length. The extras on the dvd are nothing to write home about but that doesn't really matter as it's the film you're after.
