I have several of these DVDs by the same author and love them. They are very easy to follow and show several versions designed for the novice to the expert. I have tried other yoga and pilates dvds, but I like this one because it combines the benefits of both and especially this dvd which comes with the stretch band.
calming yet energising,the instructor is very informative and gives you different levels of exercise.
Yogalates - a mixture of yoga and pilates. On this dvd the exercises incororate the use of a resistance band for increased strength. If you are tired of pounding noisy "aerobic" workouts then this may be for you. I enjoyed this workout but found some of the moves a bit tough. Improved technique should improve this but I would question the description as being "suitable for all levels of fitness". If you are not fit then take it easy! Louise's instructions are given in a calm, clear manner without the "hype" found on a lot of dvds. There is strong emphasis on correct breath control and body position. The visual demonstrations are good. I personally wasn't so keen on the meditation section - but others may love it. This makes a very good addition to any library of home workouts and I recommend it.Read full review
This is a fantastic dvd ! A physical workout that will leave you feeling that you have exercised every part of your body, combined with the yoga aspect you will feel calm and ready for the day ahead. I noticed results both physically and mentally within a week. Highly recommended!
