a good (positive) prison flick
this is about a bleeding heart do gooder throwing himself in at the deep end and trying to change things from within, and the problems that he faces and challenges he goes through as he goes on this journey, to start off he picks one of the worst prisons in the country to do this experiment, with in bred violence and corruption throughout right through to its core - he often comes against the age old bigoted tactics often employed by people entrenched in these positions, thats not the way we do things around here, now why dont you take bribe and toddle off and leave us to it, the way we have always dont things, and to his credit the character that robert redford plays refuses to give in and stays true to his beliefs, its partially based on true events and uit was big moment in robert redfords career, it also features some good character side roles and stands up well as a good (positive) prison flick, worth mentioning is that this is one of morgan freemans early roles before he became famousVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
