I recall seeing Case One when the series was aired a number of years ago, and when I saw it again, I could not remember the events or the outcome. Consequently, it was almost like seeing it again for the first time. I recalled it as being excellent, and my recent viewing did not alter that opinion. However, Case Two is badly let down by the absence of Daniel Benzali, and gripping ambience of Case One is only tentatively present in Case Two. Had this been a review of Case One only, then I would have rated it at the highest level, but the Second series is a let-down.
