Have to be Beatles fan to really like this , animation on this not that good , voices for the Beatles cartoon characters are not the Beatles themselves , at end is short live video clip of the Beatles . My 8-year old requested it, so that says it all.....
I have an 8-year old grandson who asked me where my copy of "Yellow Submarine" is. That's all I need to say. I own it because it's a great document of my favorite band as they went through their psychedelic phase. But, for my grandson to embrace "Yellow Submarine" (asking for me to put it on & let him watch it) just shows you how it's become a multi-generational classic. But, it's not exclusively for the kids. A groovy trip in the Wayback Machine.
I saw the movie when it was first released, as did many of my generation. I had not seen the entire movie since. It amazed me how well it stood the test of time.
