I searched far and wide for this. Very rarely do you find an album with a second instrumental or orchestral version of the original disc which is actually interesting and not just the album having its vocals removed. Samael's Passage is a melodic black metal masterpiece which is now over 20 years old, and I would recommend it to everyone getting to know the black metal genre as an important album. It contains classics such as Rain, Angels Decay, Jupiterian Vibe, and my personal favorite Moonskin. This is the album where Samael pioneered mixing industrial and black metal to great effect, and has come to be their signature sound. The second disc is more of an artist's classical interpretation of the original, and Xytras (the band's keyboardist) is an incredibly talented composer. You clearly hear the melodies and nuances of the original black metal album, but melded into classical piano flourishes, and is a sonic journey all on its own.
