Brutal Truth, a name known to metal fans as another one of Danny Lilker's myriad of bands. The bassist that formed Anthrax and Nuclear Assault is back with his pet-project in a short but sweet EP (some call it a full-length, some don't), that gives us ten burst of madness, the death/grind way! Including classics like "Blind Leading The Blind", "Let's Go To War" and the incredible YDI cover "I Killed My Family", this EP is nothing short of meaning as it leads you through half an hour of intense music, with a hint of madness from Mr. Lilker's head. A great follow-up to the first two albums, and in my opinion the last great Brutal Truth album. This is an arguable statement but the later album "Sounds Of The Animal Kingdom" would begin to show a bit of a loss in creative songwriting, compared to earlier efforts. This is a great albeit short (but what isn't in the Grind zone right?!) piece of death/grind, that will appeal to early 90's fans of Brutal Truth, Terrorizer, SOB, Assück and such bands. It's worth checking out and buying. Thank you very much Mr. Lilker for another job well done!Read full review
