The debt we owe to the Lumiere family.
Putting versions of The Lumiere Brothers original camera into the hands 20 of today's most brilliant directors, is an act of genius. The one minute films produced by each of them which are unedited simply remind us of tthr wizardry of the Lumieres and how they founded what we now call the motion picture industry and the art of filmmaking.
