The Jupiter-Effect "Dooms Day Scenario Soundtrack CD!
This CD "Rounds-Out" my collection of Larry Fast work. Larry Fast is one of the mid-1970's pioneers of electronic music and probably has tweaked every knob on every brand of synthesizer ever made!
His style varies from extremely experimental, to classical to sound track work.
This particular CD is a sign of how the 1982 mega planetary alignment as mentioned in the 1974 book 'The Jupiter Effect' was somewhat mass marketed as a possible "doom's day-esq" scenario. One kind of electronic music I really enjoy is this "concept" type. The accuracy of the event here, is irrelevant to the concept of it - and though a bit dated in the SPFX department, it still holds up for me today.
Larry certainly has a gift and I suggest you sample some, if you have not already.
if you're into collecting soundtracks especially 70s and 80s ones it's a real treat for sci-fi fans along with Logan's run, star wars, and the late great planet earth. it's nostalgic and wonderful!
