Before my first listen of this album, I knew only three songs that were on this album. I thought maybe I knew Rocks Off, but I believe that the version that I knew of is a Rod Stewart song. I knew Tumbling Dice, Happy, and Shine a Light. That left 15 songs I didn't know so I didn't really know what to expect. There are a lot of them though that sound sound eerily familiar, and the first time I listened to them I thought they were all right. The second time they grew on me, and after that I thought that this could possibly be one of the best albums of all time. There's not a lot of flash on this album. No big time hit, but a lot of good songs. There's no need to go into the highlights of this album, because they're all equally good tunes. It's almost like a gospel album. I don't know what influences the Stones had when they wrote this album, but it worked brilliantlyRead full review
