Steely Dan have always been primarily a studio band, finding live shows and tours too arduous and unrewarding to do with any frequency. In fact, the last five years Steely Dan was together, they refused to tour at all. So, it came as a surprise to many that the Dan toured a couple of years ago, and in 2000 they surprised everyone again by releasing their first studio record in 20 years. Recorded on the superior sound quality of DVD-Audio, all the brilliant nuances of the album can be heard.

2nd NEWEST STEELY DAN RELEASE!
This DVD-Audio version of ‘Two Against Nature’, their 2nd last release on the DVD-Audio next to ‘Everything Must Go’, which is equally an excellent album with an great Surround set of cuts. The only two Steely Dan albums with a Surround collection of cuts. A must get for Boomers into Steely Dan. Sure they’re expensive, but their pristine HiRes audio makes them a must for any serious collector and well worth it. Not to mention the album’s KILLER! IMHO . . .

Good disc But ......
While all these kind of products are getting expensive , this one is no different. Good surround as all the steely dan discs are , Be patient and find the right price . Where are the quad versions of the classics like can’t buy a thrill , pretzel logic , and aja ? Pay the money for those . Ok , I’ll get off my soap box and say the sound quality is great. The 5.1 is outstanding , just aggressive enough , but not almost absent like the eagles hell freezes over. If you can find it for $30 or under its worth the buy.
