William Friedkin (THE EXORCIST) directed this Showtime original that stars Shannen Doherty as Angel, a fresh faced 1950s cheerleader with a wild streak. Antonio Sabato, Jr. is Tony, the leather clad rebel who begins a tempestuous relationship with Angel and brings out her reckless side. Despite the warnings from those who know about Tony's reputation Angel keeps seeing him until he's thrown in jail after a robbery. However, desperate to renew his relationship with Angel, he breaks out of prison to find her and take her on another crime spree.

Sultry and entertaining
The acting was pretty good. Antonio is a great actor. His role was easy for him and made it very believable. Shannen was okay. Not as believable as Antonio. If you like the actors in this movie than the price is worth paying for the DVD. The plot was kind of slow in some spots, but there was enough action to make up for it. Overall a good movie, but not a blockbuster.

Still in good shape to know some information.
Not sure if that's a remake from the 1960 film, but it might be for a good cause.
