the precapital sessions are here and four other songs that are rare.
The beach boys are one of musics greatest bands ever. This is where they start from basically. This stuff is out on several cds including a two cd version with more takes. THis is mainly for beach boys collectors though. I bought it for the four rare songs that were done by two other groups but featured a beach boy playing on the songs. The boys were good musicians. And it shows . This is all mono basically and that's a flat sound but if you want a cd of early stuff that predates capital records then this is for you. The sound is good , just like the other cds with these songs I would suggest that non collectors grab one of their later cds instead. This stuff was never released mostly back in the day.
