The Shop Around the Corner is where most of the action takes place. Appropriate.
This is an oldie but goodie. The plot was used again in the musical "She Loves Me", and was used in "You've Got Mail". The plot was cute, the actors were excellent, and we had a movie that all of us enjoyed for a change.

Oldie but goodie
This is a delightful film that gets trotted out by Turner Classic Movie channel every holiday season, but the channel was removed from our cable service earlier this year. I just couldn’t miss it, so bought the DVD. Well worth it! It’s a feel-good story, and everyone could use one of those once in awhile!

A must see for the classic movie lover!
This is a fun and enjoyable movie! It's what the movie "You've Got Mail" was based off of, and in my opinion, you just have to watch the original source! Some of the topics addressed can be a little grim, so view it alone before you sit down as a family to make sure it fits your family's culture. Despite some darker topics (which they handle quite aptly in the storyline) this flick will make you laugh, as well as cheer for the romantic duo, played so beautifully by Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan. For those looking for a happy ending, you will not be disappointed. Also of note: though the DVD cover is in color, this is a black & white movie.
