  • A Fine Introduction To The Cthulhu Mythos

Great artwork, excellent selection of stories. Some of the tales include immediate Lovecraft circle members like Robert E. Howard and Clark Ashton Smith. Howard's tale called "The Black Stone" is likely the most chilling of the collection. Robert Bloch's tale, "The Shambler From The Stars" is extremely well written with vivid depictions of the events involving the two main characters. I found nothing negative about this volume of Cthulhu mythos stories.
