LODE RUNNER is one of the oldest games in videogame history. It was originally released on the Apple II, back when computers were just a little bit more than glorified calculators. Now, LODE RUNNER has made its way to the PlayStation, and the game remains the same. Players take control of a lone runner who must navigate a series of platforms and ladders trying to collect all of the gold and move on to the next level. However, there are red runners who are out to stop you. Your only defense is a flame-thrower that will create holes in the platforms for the bad guys to fall into. As an added bonus, the game has a Construction mode, which allows you to create your own screen layouts and place gold and enemies where you see fit.
