I truly enjoyed reading these stories of Dostoevsky's for the first time. I didn't know that he had written so many short stores before. As he does so well even in a short story the characters and plot are always beautifully interwoven to keep you wanting to keep reading! He has such a masterful way of telling about people both gentle or unkind that reaches deep into the complexities of the human mind like no one else. I can truly recommend this book.
