    I preferred the remake.

    I bought this out of interest after watching the Piers Brosnan version. I really wanted to like it and expect my expectations were too high. In the event I did not enjoy this original version nearly as much as the remake. The plot is not as intelligent, the action less gripping, and lacking the same chemistry between the lead characters. I even prefer Sting's version of the song! Anyway it was interesting to see, so I am glad that I bought it.
