Overlooked classic.
Black rain is in many ways a typical eighties action movie,but it stands out because of the excellent performances and Ridley Scott's direction. Michael Douglas is always great to watch and he is ably supported by Andy Garcia. Osaka almost reminds you of the Los Angeles of Blade runner,and,as is always the case with Scott's movies looks great. I believe it did quite well at the box office in 1989,but it seems to be overlooked now. Yes,it is dated,but if you enjoy that eighties movie vibe,and a decent action movie I would throughly recommend this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
