It's not often that a Sequel is as good as the first but Die Hard 2 - Die Harder is. Watch and enjoy as John McClane struggles to save yet another Christmas Eve and his wife - plus a few others!

Good first sequel 2 the original film, this is more a Christmas setting around, with it being in Dulles airport in Washington DC.

I have had this film in my dvd collection for quite some time but decided to recently purchase it on blu-ray, mainly because it is one of my favourite films and also because i got it for £9.99 on here which I thought was nice. If you have got a blu-ray player I recommend it on blu-ray, its better in hd as you would expect and the little aeroplane menu in the corner is cool. The film itself is fantastic, in my personal opinion I prefer the original slightly more, probably just because the original is the original but there are many great features in die hard 2, the location is fantastic especially outside in the snow. The baddies are maybe not quite as exciting as Alan Rickman but the twist with the story as to who is good and who is bad is truly genius. The film itself is well worth a look if you havent seen it or if your one of those people that has watched it a hundred times on ITV2. The film itself sees John McClaine (Bruce Willis) up against terrorists yet again but this time in a busy airport while his wife is on one of the planes. The terrorists seize control of the airport in order to free a military prisoner and it's all down to John to save the day and his wife again. Well worth a look, 5 Stars in my personal opinionRead full review
Die Hard 2 was an action-packed blockbuster based around a terrorist faction attempting to take over an airport. However they had underestimated a city-cop John Mclain (Bruce Willis) whom threw a spanner in all the works, and focused to defeat those which opposed the airport by any means possible. This is a sequel to Die Hard, and well worth the watch
This film is not my type of film usually but as a bit of un-demanding fun it has a wonderfully cold, christmasy feel. It has the usual gun-toting hero running around shooting people and blowing things up in the form of Bruce Willis (donning what looks like the same old vest he wore in Die Hard 1) and as usual he does everyone's job for them but the airport setting and the snowy landscape gives the film a cold, magical quality. The concept of planes circling the airport unable to land is chilling, as is the scene where the bad guy sends an aircraft into the runway. Theres some good stuff here if you can ignore the super-hero rubbish and just treat it as a bit of background atmosphere. It's a good quality shoot-um-up romp and in my opinion it is by far the best of the Die Hard series.
