BEAUTIFUL GEM
The music of 'Eddi Reader' has come into my life with a bang in recent times. To the extent that I've bought most her back catalogue (many from e.bay at brilliant prices). Of all the cds and vinyl I've accumulated, this one is amongst one of the best. It has an incredibly strong ethnic feel running throughout. A few of the tracks sounding much as Jeff Buckley did a few years later on the 'Grace' album.. The overall sonic sound quality produced is magic (then again they are on most of her albums). This album dates from 1992 - a quarter of a century ago, but could easily have be en made this year. Standout tracks - the entire album. Put it on and drift.
