    An absolute classic if your into sci-fi if your into Alien you have to give this a go! A good story line and good acting but without too much complexity and ever changing plot. You can pick this film up so cheaply these days you have nothing to loose. Very very good well worth a watch.

    Only half way there!

    Well conceived up to the mid point of the film. Then it became just another silly horror story that could have been set anywhere at any time. Would have been so much better to have a storyline that was as futuristic as the first half of the film had been. And why, oh why does the unknown always have to be based on the evil theories of life? There are much better genuine Sci fi movies around than this twaddle!

    Hmmm.....

    I found this film disappointing when i saw it in the cinema and it disappointed me again all these years later . Its a great idea but it ends up as less than the sum of its parts and i can't really say why without watching it again...but that won't happen .
