    Day of The Jackal, renamed update to The Jackal

    A remake of the Day of the Jackal 1973 starring Edward Fox, The Jackal, 1998 starring Bruce Willis and Richard Gere has also changed location from England and Europe to The United States and targets have changed also in the American way. Bruce Willis plays a convincing assassin, for the Hollywood style picture but is less convincing if it were to be put to the test in reality as like with the first making of the original. Willis as The Jackal, does hold entertainment value designed for the box office and therefore accomplishes what it set out to do...
