On September 13, 1999, Earth's moon is torn from its orbit when a radioactive waste site explodes, sending Moonbase Alpha and its crew--including Commander John Koenig (Landau) and Dr. Helena Russell (Bain)--on a journey through the galaxy. This collection presents the first four episodes: Breakaway, A Matter of Life and Death, Black Sun, and Ring Around the Moon.
