Review of Jim Davidson's Falkland Special show.
This outstanding show was made at the height of Jim Davidson's popularity. I saw it on TV in 1983, and enjoyed it so much I have been looking for a copy ever since. It took me 33 years to find it! The troops Jim and his group of musicians and dancers went to entertain obviously enjoyed his shows as much as I did. This video also includes a lot of interesting footage of the logistical problems involved in getting everyone to the Falkland Islands, and visiting the various outposts where the troops were located. In addition to Jim's well-known skills as a comedian, towards the end of the video he also demonstrated a surprising accomplished ability to sing, when he performed a very poignant song that made a very appropriate ending to this interesting and enjoyable video.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
