In Carry On Up The Jungle, the "Carry On" team go ape crazy in darkest Africa, as Professor Inigo Tinkle (Frankie Howerd) and his clumsy sidekick, Claude Chumley (Kenneth Connor), embark on a bird fancying expedition. Instead of finding the rare Oozulum bird, however, a vast array of other wildlife is encountered--including a forgotten tribe of gorgeous, man-hungry females, and a loin-clothed, vine-swinging Jungle Boy (Terry Scott), who becomes the unlikely hero of the riotous romp. As primitive passions are unleashed, parodies of "Tarzan" and other jungle classics are finely executed in true "Carry On" form. Sid James as the fearless white hunter Bill Boosey, Joan Sims as the haughty Lady Bagley, and Charles Hawtrey as Tonkahappily get native for this classic "Carry On" film.
