I was quite disappointed with this movie - expected more story with the plot & was definatley a TV movie!
Absolute tripe. This film is so boring and dull that its laughable. Mindless rubbish like this is only for a certain of moron! No relation at ALL to the first film/book either. I would happily pay this actress to shut-up and never work in the industry again. She should stick to being Meg's voice in Family Guy. I strongly suggest you all go out and buy a copy of Bret Eason Ellis's American Psycho(book). This is one hell of an amazing read but if you are easily traumatized I wouldn't recommend it!
Unlike the first American Psycho, this B-flick has absolutely nothing to do with Bret Easton Ellis's controversial novel. I really don't know how they were even allowed to use the name, but I'm sure Ellis isn't happy. Despite good performances by William Shatner and Geraint Wynn Davis, the movie doesn't quite make it to the black comedy level it's trying for -- at least, I hope it was supposed to be funny. I like her on That 70's Show, but here Kunis's awkward voice-over narration is almost painful to listen to. So much so, that I didn't listen to her over-the-movie DVD commentary. I did, however, watch the deleted scenes (rightfully excised) and the alternate beginning (actually better than the one they decided to go with). There are also interactive menus and scene selection. So in short, get the DVD if you want to complete your American Psycho collection (Term used losely) or if you are a fan of Mila Kunis, otherwise its best to give this film a miss.Read full review
