EXCELLENT MINI SERIES MOVIE.
I am not a religious person but I really did enjoy this old, 1970's TV mini series, now on DVD as a movie. The cast is amazing with all the big names at the time & some who went on to become big stars! Robert Powell is awesome in the role of Jesus & this role showed just how good an actor he was. It is rather long but it, in my humble opinion, is well worth sitting through. Unfortunately they don't make films or series like that anymore.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Worth watching
Arrived quickly, Case a bit tatty. Was worried when I put Disc 1 in, as it didn't work - when I pressed Play, a message came on Screen stating that No Disc was inserted. I took it out, put it back, and it worked that time. I hope it's not a 'Pirate'. I don't think that this Version is actually the Original that was shown over a period of Weeks in the late 1970s.
