Additional InformationA comedy about the inhabitants of Tulley More, a small Irish town with a population of fifty-two and dwindling. When Jackie and Michael discover that someone in their town has won the national lottery, they intend to uncover the lucky individual and talk him into sharing the jackpot with them. Waking Ned - A suprb film with a surprise ending!
I remember seeing Waking Ned at a cinema many years ago. I loved it! For quite some time now, I've been anxious to find out if it was available on a DVD. Indeed it is and I just had to have it. Brilliant comedy film with great Irish actors. The story plot is simple to follow, one which is laced with comedy throughout. Actors David Kelly and Ian Bannen are at their very best. One of my favourite films ever!
We have a DVD of this film, and watch it at least twice a year! We love it when people we know say they've never seen it, as that is our cue to have a 'Waking New Night'. The film is everything you want from a film; Atmospheric, Intriguing, Funny, Makes you laugh and cry. Leaves you with a superb Feel Good factor.
