Additional InformationTom Selleck stars as Jimmie Rainwood, an average citizen and hardworking honest man whose life becomes a living nightmare when he is framed by a pair of crooked cops and sent to prison for a crime he did not commit. While he suffers in prison, his loving wife (Laila Robins) leads an undaunting campaign to clear his name and bring the corrupt cops to justice. Finally, after three years, Jamie makes parole and is able to begin his life anew, determined to exact revenge against the crooked team who did him wrong. This brutal prison drama from director Peter Yates (BULLITT, BREAKING AWAY) combines hard-hitting action with heart and romance.

An Innocent Man:A quality film.
I bought this film quite simply because it is a quality production.The story's great,and so is the acting.It's the type of film that pretty much grips you right from the off,and has a very good level of atmosphere throughout,and you just can't help but want justice for Mr Jimmy Raine,(Tom Selleck),whilst hating the "king shit cops" that wronged him-can't say more,cause don't want to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it.Overall,Tom and the rest of the cast are fantastic and this film is seriously worth a look,especially if you like "prison style" films.Quality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
