    The original and best version of "The War Of The Worlds" musical cd.

    For me, this is the definitive version of the Jeff Wayne's "War Of The Worlds" musical cd. It was how I first heard it years ago, when first released and it still has such a great impact. Amazing story set to awesome performances from musicians and singers alike. The writing is perfect, setting the narrative so well that you can close your eyes and it becomes an immersive experience. There are updated and special edition versions available but I am happy to listen to this, the original version. It's all I need.

    War of the Worlds. A Must have musical.

    I have had the vinyl version since 1978 but never got round to buying the C.D. version. Still as amazing after all these years and the copy i received was in superb condition Crystal case and C.D.'s were spotless and the sleeve notes booklet doesn't even have finger print's on it. Simply a musical that should be in everyone' s collection and at the E-Bay prices that is easily achievable.
