Excellent Adaption
I first Eye of the Needle by Ken Follett this year and really enjoyed it. I couldn't wait to see the film and it was worth the wait. Bits of it are a slightly dated but overall the film is an excellent adaption. It stays largely faithful to the book and is filled with well chosen character actors. Donald Sutherland was great as the 'needle' and played the part really well. Kate Nelligan was also brilliant and beautiful as Lucy Rose the heroin of the story.
