When Worlds Collide
As a older person I have recently become interested in childhood memories. I first saw this film many years ago as a kid. Way back then as a 7 year old I was no doubt excited about the movie and enjoyed watching it, anyway fast forward to 2025 and I now in my late 60's and I recently became aware that this film has been made available on DVD and so I decided to get a copy of it. It is nice that people make these very old classic movies available for people to purchase and I for one hope this trend continues. Final thoughts, it is important to remember that this film is over 70 years old and it can not compete with modern films and modern attitudes, but given these obvious limitations I still managed to enjoy the movie. I don't mind science fiction being far-fetched, but it has to make some sort of sense within it's own logic - this doesn't - it's utterly preposterous. Even so, a few special effects, primitive though they were in the 60's, would have helped - there weren't any - sad and pathetic. Brilliant no doubt in it's day but not now !!!
Couldn't believe I was watching this! the special effects must have been put together in a classroom @ the end part of the film especially ( yes I kept my eyes open until then ) when the space ship was landing wow that blew my mind 🤣🤣🤣🤣 still what can you expect for a film which was made before I was born !
