Lovely film
This amazing story should be read by everyone. The author, Steinbeck, used only 130 pages to relay such a brilliant piece of work....truly genius, and the film closely follows the thread of the book. Excellent interpretation of Steinbeck's great novella
John Malkovich is excellent as Lennie, though I prefer Lon Chaney from the 1939 movie just a bit more. Gary Sinise gives a solid performance as George, equal to Burgess Meredith in the 1939 version. Lennie is a child in a man's body and has immense strength. I think I can put in a spoiler as the story is so widely known.
