From songs such as "Raspberry Swirl" and "She's Your Cocaine" this album is full of unique as well as beautiful music from Tori Amos. A wonderful female solo artist who has took the world by storm with her lyrics and amazing piano skills shows how great her talent is as a musician. This album is good. I'm a big fan of Tori's work for a while now and this album did not disappoint me in any way. It is a lot different from both her previous and recent work but, I feel that is what Tori succeeds to do - bring something orginal and different to every album she makes. Songs like “Playboy Mommy” “Liquid Diamonds” and of course “Northern Lad” will make you play this CD over and over again.
Classic Tori - but deeper, darker, sexier. Delicious! Excellent vocals, passionate piano, hypnotic grooves and beats, very sexy. The tone of this album is darker, more back alley, and raw than her previous albums. Very sensual. What can I say, I love every single album of Tori's but this one has a very different feel but is still unmistakably Tori Amos.
