A Solid Boxset That Takes You back In Time
I remember watching many of these as a teenager on my own at night, scared the living daylights out of me back then. A great trip down memory lane, with some fine performances from top class British stars. l enjoyed the horror series. Each episode have unique horror story, which surprised me. The TV series offers plot twists, that keeps you excited. I think, that each episode was made late of 1970, which offers a good atmosphere for the series. I recommend to watch the series. ps. thirteen wonderful lighter tales of horror drama
Although some characters are engaging, it isn't perceivable that the majority are, however the stories are interesting to a very high level, can be watched many times and are still of interest, some are perhaps a little on the macabre side for many, however they aren't of the gore type, are what could be called lesser horror drama, perhaps, the uncanny thing about the hammer house of horror stories are, you could even imagine the types of scenario actually happening, in reality, if you chose to, there are thirteen different tales on this dvd set, and each one has its' own unique story to reveal, made/set around the late seventies/early eighties, the style of dress reflects this, astrology is even mentioned in guardian of the abyss, and ((witchery)) is covered in witching time, there is a doppelganger tale, two faces of evil and even {{voodoo}} has a tale to reveal in charlie boy, they are so absorbing, it is difficult to have a favorite oneVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Intriguing memory golden nugget
Absolutely marvellous they don't make them like this anymore, loved the itc shows growing up and this is certainly one of the better ones just watching Suzanne Danielle and Gayle Hunnicutt makes me come out in goose bumps never mind the horror aspect of it.
