How on earth this film ended up labeled as "Stunt Wars" with pictures of banger racing on the cover i shall never know! It's actually a 1972 Japanese film called "Daredevil Drivers" dubbed into english. It tells a tale of a group of Japanese stunt men who challenge a bunch of American stunt men to a challenge ...who can pull of the greatest stunts! The film looks to have been shot around Long Beach in California and nearly all the stunts involve either some late 60's or early 70's American cars with a few featuring some cool old Datsuns. The plot is dreadful as is the dialog but that's not what this film is about. It's all about the stunts! And there are plenty of those to keep the viewer happy, from straightforward crashes, to driving on two wheels to huge jumps into piles of cars, into the sea and even onto moving a truck. In summary, this isn't really for you if you are not into cars in a big way. As a film it's awful but as a piece of history, from a time when health and safety considerations didn't rule our lives, and for old car enthusiasts it's a must have.Read full review
Filmed a long time ago so has aged, the stunt where ok but the last one with the 911 was grate. The pic on the cover are abit missleading as none of the cars are in the film (Banger racing)so dont no why are on the cover.
