ReviewsEntertainment Weekly - ...THE GOLD RUSH is still Chaplin's most perfectly realized comedy and one of those rare movies that enchant anew no matter how many times you've seen it...
This is the first time I have watched this film in many years. It brought back fond memories of many years ago and did not disappoint. This particular dvd had both the version with Charlie Chaplin's own voice over, and the silent version with contemporary musical backing. A true classic made by Chaplin at the height of his powers. Watch and see how films should be made.
