    Best adaptation

    This is the best ever adaptation of Macbeth and it will never be beaten. The characters especially Jon Finch are absolutely incredible and we’re definitely the best people for the role. Such a good movie

    A superb adaptation of Shakespeare's most intriguing play, this has action, pace and thrills. The Welsh locations used conjure a strong atmosphere and sense of place and this is complemented by uniformly excellent acting. Don't be put off by concerns about understanding the language: it's easy to follow what's going on and there are many thrilling moments where you hear a phrase that has become part of our cultural heritage. One of those rare films where, even if you already know how the story ends, you're captivated by the telling.

    Macbeth

    This was a very good version of Shakespeares famous play. The acting was very good and the characters portrayed the story well. Great costumes and scenery. I bought the DVD as a 'help aid' for a student studying GCSE English Literature and it made the story much easier for her to understand . A good buy !
